How Do I Set Up the Heart Rate Widget on My iPhone?

The Cardiogram widget gives you quick access to your recent heart rate data, right from your iPhone’s Home Screen.


📲 How to add the Cardiogram Heart Rate Widget

  1. From your Home Screen, tap and hold anywhere on the background
  2. When the apps start to wiggle, tap the ➕ icon in the upper-left corner

  3. Search for “Cardiogram”

    Choose your preferred widget size:

    • First option: half-width

    • Swipe left for the full-width version

  4. Tap “Add Widget”
  5. Drag it where you want on your screen
  6. Tap “Done” to finish



⚙️ How to customize the hours shown

The widget displays your most recent heart rate data synced to Cardiogram. You can adjust how many hours of data appear.

To customize:

  1. Touch and hold the Cardiogram widget
  2. Tap “Edit Widget”
  3. Select the number of hours you want to display (e.g., 1, 3, 6, or 12 hours)

🔄 If the widget doesn't update

If your widget isn’t displaying recent data:

  • Tap the widget to open the Cardiogram app
  • Make sure the app shows heart rate data for today
  • If not, confirm that your wearable has synced and data has been imported to Cardiogram
