How do I add the Cardiogram complication to my watch face?
The Cardiogram app supports complications, so you can see your heart rate at a glance — right on your watch face. To use this feature, make sure you’re running watchOS 6.2 or later.
📲 Check your Apple Watch version
If the Cardiogram app isn’t appearing on your watch:
- Open the Watch app on your iPhone
- Go to General > Software Update
- Make sure your Apple Watch is running the latest version of watchOS
If needed, follow these steps from Apple to update your Apple Watch
🧭 How to add Cardiogram as a complication
Apple Watch faces can be customized by adding complications — small widgets that show app info.
- Touch and hold the watch face
- Tap Edit
- Swipe left to the Complications screen
- Tap a complication area, then scroll and select Cardiogram
- Press the Digital Crown to save your changes
Not all watch faces support complications. Try using one like Infograph, Modular, or Activity Analog for the best compatibility.
