How do I add the Cardiogram complication to my watch face?

The Cardiogram app supports complications, so you can see your heart rate at a glance — right on your watch face. To use this feature, make sure you’re running watchOS 6.2 or later.

📲 Check your Apple Watch version

If the Cardiogram app isn’t appearing on your watch:

Open the Watch app on your iPhone
Go to General > Software Update
Make sure your Apple Watch is running the latest version of watchOS

🧭 How to add Cardiogram as a complication

Apple Watch faces can be customized by adding complications — small widgets that show app info.

Touch and hold the watch face
Tap Edit
Swipe left to the Complications screen
Tap a complication area, then scroll and select Cardiogram
Press the Digital Crown to save your changes

Not all watch faces support complications. Try using one like Infograph, Modular, or Activity Analog for the best compatibility.
