Why is my timeline showing the wrong time or timezone?
Cardiogram uses your phone’s system timezone to display timestamps in the Timeline. In most cases, it should update automatically — but if you’re seeing incorrect times, here’s how to fix it.
🕒 Manually update your timezone in Cardiogram (iOS only)
- Open the Cardiogram app
- From the Timeline screen, tap the three horizontal lines (☰) in the top left corner
- Tap Settings > General
- Scroll to the bottom
- Use the Timezone dropdown to manually select your correct timezone
✅ This option is currently available for iPhone users only
🔁 Resetting your timezone manually (iOS workaround)
If the timeline still appears off, try this reset method:
- Open your iPhone’s Settings app
- Tap General > Date & Time
- Temporarily change to a different timezone
- Open the Cardiogram app
- Go back to Date & Time and switch back to your correct timezone
- Reopen Cardiogram again
This often forces a refresh of the timezone setting in your Timeline chart.
💡 Android users
Cardiogram should always follow your system timezone on Android. If times look off, try:
- Restarting your phone
- Opening Cardiogram again after confirming your phone’s timezone is correct
