Why doesn’t my Report Card risk score include more health factors?
We know there are many meaningful health indicators that can impact your risk for various conditions. While Cardiogram considers several key metrics, not every possible factor is included — yet.
⚙️ Why all factors aren’t used (for now)
Building a reliable risk score requires balancing:
• The data available from your wearable
• The complexity of interpreting health signals across millions of users
• What’s practical and safe to include in an AI-based score
Some health conditions depend on diagnoses, genetics, medications, and other details that wearables don’t currently track. That’s why your Report Card score is best viewed as a general wellness signal, not a replacement for medical advice.
🚧 What we’re working on
Report Card is under active development. In the future, we plan to:
• Let you add or update medical history (like known diagnoses)
• Include more data types to personalize your score further
• Improve clarity around what’s driving your score up or down
These changes are being designed with your privacy and usability in mind.
🧠 Remember: AI is helpful, not diagnostic
Your Cardiogram score is meant to guide your awareness, not provide a medical diagnosis. A healthcare professional will always offer the most accurate and complete assessment.
