Fitbit or Google Pixel Watch data is not appearing in Cardiogram
If you’ve linked your Fitbit or Google Pixel Watch but don’t see your latest heart rate data in Cardiogram, follow the steps below to get things syncing again.
Step 1: Sync your data to the Fitbit app
Fitbit and Pixel watches collect data continuously, but they only upload that data to the cloud when the Fitbit app is open on your phone.
To sync:
- Open the Fitbit app on your phone
- Go to your device settings
- Tap Sync Now
Cardiogram reads your data from your Fitbit cloud account. If the Fitbit app hasn’t synced recently, we won’t have anything to import.
Step 2: Reconnect your Fitbit account in Cardiogram
If syncing your Fitbit app didn’t fix the issue:
- Open the Cardiogram app
- Tap the three lines in the top left corner to open the Settings sidebar
- Scroll to Link Your Wearables and tap Fitbit
- Tap Disconnect Fitbit
- Return to the Settings sidebar and tap Fitbit again
Sign in to your Fitbit account when prompted
When asked for permissions, select Allow All
- At a minimum, make sure heart rate, sleep, activity, exercise, and profile are checked
Once reconnected, Cardiogram will begin importing your most recent data.
Note for Pixel Watch users:
Google Pixel Watch uses the Fitbit app to sync your heart data, just like a traditional Fitbit device. Be sure to follow the same steps above to keep your data flowing into Cardiogram.
